Stockholm Diary (Study Score) - for String Orchestra

Commissioned by the Stockholm Concert Hall Foundation, Stockholm Diary is a powerful and virtuosic 13 minute piece for string orchestra. Written in 2004 for Esa-Pekka Salonen's Composer Portrait, October 2004, the work is a prime example of the composer's use of harmonies and rich, creamy textures.
