Product Description
This 12" Pro Series in solid,vibrant Padauk wood is a very attractive instrument. Padauk is typically a very bright red or orange freshly after it is cut. As the wood ages, it begins to oxidize and the bright oranges begin to turn into ruddier reds. Our solid Padauk CajonTab® is approximately 12 inches by 12 inches by 4 inches, making it an inch thicker than our Standard and Jumbo CajonTab®. The extra inch creates a larger internal chamber which allows the drum to resonant slightly more than our 3 inch models. The tradeoff is additional weight and bulk. Our Pro Series drums are well suited to a studio or recording environment, as the extra weight would not be a hinderance. However, while this drum is heavier than our birch and poplar models, it is still very manageable and weights less than 10 lbs. This drum includes a free Louson Drums black guitar strap. By popular demand, now comes with a matching padauk snare!
