A Solid, no-nonsense PA Speaker
These are great speakers. I've owned several of them for the last four years, and they've survived countless small gigs. They're light enough for me to carry two at once, substantial enough to take a hit from a mic stand, and versatile enough to function as mains or monitors, on the floor or on a stand. The switchable frequency filter and ease of inputs is excellent - they basically have three input stages, allowing you to use one as a standalone PA for a single input, daisy-chain a couple in a row, or run a separate line to each for various types of arrays. Did I mention the fan is nearly silent? It's quiet enough to use them as floor wedges while recording.
