Open Pore finishes are thinner and lighter than full gloss finishes. This thin finish combined with top quality materials and a scalloped bracing pattern allows the top to move more in response to strumming or finger picking, resulting in a well balanced, dynamic tone with great projection and clarity. In addition to the tone enhancing properties of the Open Pore finish, the natural feel of the wood results in a supremely comfortable playing experience.
