We are proud to bring players our first all-solid wood construction ukuleles. Not only do they sound amazing, but they have a more “planet-conscious” element to their design. Our MU55 Masterworks ukes are made from all solid bamboo, a wood that grows quickly in abundance and is in no danger of depleting, making them beautifully crafted and beautifully planet-friendly.
Solid Bamboo as a tonewood sounds fantastic for a ukulele, and it’s also very affordable, which allows us to deliver an all-solid, stellar sounding professional ukulele at such value. The MU55’s sustain and tone will put a smile on your face, and knowing that it’s a better choice for our planet will hopefully sweeten the sound even more.
Alvarez ukuleles have been designed to create an open-sounding and instantly responsive instrument with great projection, and a warm, bell-like voicing that you will love.
All of our ukuleles are constructed with a dovetail neck joint for optimal strength and transfer of energy between the neck and body. The bracing is minimal and considered, and our build is accurate and stable. The responsiveness of the soundbox is enhanced with a solid “slotted” bridge, which enhances response and helps to make string changes easier and quicker.
Other appointments and features include quality-seasoned tonewoods, flawless poly-finish, real bone nut and saddle, mahogany neck, and premium tuners.
