This dynamic setting of the well-known Latin text is exciting and uplifting. Creating walls of sound that alternate between men's and women's voices, the composers use rhythmic drive and dynamic variation to create this powerful work. There is some divisi, and the work is excellent for festival or contest. Very accessible.
