This dramatic Easter program of approximately 8 minutes' duration is perfect for regular Easter worship, a great alternative to a cantata! Page and Shafferman have created a compelling blend of biblical narrative, beloved familiar spirituals and hymns, and choral and congregational singing. Flexible and easily prepared, it can be divided into two sections, performing the Prelude during Holy Week or at Easter sunrise service, with the balance of the work reserved for the more triumphant Easter service.
