Up to 6 bands of ultimate power
MDynamicsMB can split the input into 6 separate frequency bands, providing analogue crossovers with up to 120dB/octave separation, linear-phase and hybrid crossovers. What you do with each of these bands is up to you.
All-in-one solution
Each band can do it all. It can be a compressor, expander, gate, any combination, or you can even draw your own processing shape for more creative effects. Add in integrated parallel compression, full channel linking, up to 8 channel surround processing and much more and MDynamicsMB becomes the ultimate tool for multi-band dynamics.
Ultra-flexible level follower
MDynamicsMB can adapt to any audio material thanks to its extremely versatile envelope follower featuring automatic release modes, peak hold, RMS length, look-ahead, psycho-acoustic pre-filtering, custom attack and release shapes, spectral smoothing and much more. And of course, it can be different for each band.
Extremely versatile side-chain
MDynamicsMB can not only follow the input level, it can filter it or even use any other signal from the side-chain. For filtering you can have a simple band-pass or even fully-featured 6-band equalizer. And again each band may be different.

- With MDynamicsMB you can actually draw your own processing shape using our MeldaProduction envelope system (MES) technology. It lets you easily create any dynamic processing shape you like. And it is extremely fast even for complicated shapes.
- Lets you control multiple parameters using a single so-called multiparameter. This may not only come handy for automation for example, but the multiparameters are very smart units and you can use them to smartly morph between banks of settings for example. All in the name of creativity!
- The dynamic detector using in MDynamicsMB has no match on the market. It features manual and 5 automatic release modes with adjustable limits and speed, true RMS and true peak hold features, look-ahead and more.
- Melda's flexible multiband system can transparently separate your audio into 6 bands which can then be processed individually. But this is no standard multiband, it can split your signal in many ways, including: Frequency (Linear-phase or Analog with adjustable slope), Level, Panorama, Mid-Side, Transients, Tonal/Noise or Parallel. It also comes with a built-in frequency analyser and sonogram.
- MDynamicsMB can handle not only mono and stereo signals, but also mid/side encoding for stereo field processing, separate left & right channels, separate mid or side signal, up to 8 channels of surround audio and even up to the mighty 7th order ambisonics having staggering 64 channels. It is perfect for audio production for music, movies, games, VR...
- Parallel compression has never been easier. And not just compression for that matter. Engineers used to simulate this concept using complicated routing. With MDynamicsMB you can just use the dry/wet control. It is really that simple.
- Temporary gain provides an excellent way to control the amount of compression while keeping the output level stable. Based on tricks well known by top producers MDynamicsMB makes the workflow quicker than ever before.
- Some plugins can intensely increase gain when exposed to specific audio materials. MDynamicsMB provides a safety brickwall limiter, which ensures the output stays below 0dB and prevents your equipment and your ears from potential danger automatically.
