Faure's well-known romantic, melancholy melody can now be played in a fresh arrangement for oboe and piano. "This well-score setting of the Faure work is written for oboe with piano accompaniment. Featuring a romantic, somewhat melancholy melody played at a moderate tempo and accompanied by attractive harmonies, the piece was originally written for a concert of light music. The composer described the piece as 'elegant, but not particularly imposing.'"--The Instrumentalist
