Product Description

RETROMOD COMPLETE COLLECTION - CLASSIC HARDWARE SYNTHS IN THE BOX

As the name suggests, the RetroMod series is more than just a collection of sample-based imitations – the goal of this series is to capture the soul of classic hardware synthesizers and add something new – a contemporary twist.

Each instrument is sampled meticulously and in great detail in order to guarantee the greatest realism. The samples are then combined in creative and unusual ways to offer more than just faithful recreations. Take the soul of these iconic synthesizers and push them in new directions, creating sounds simply unachievable from the source hardware. The UI design includes an XY pad assigned to parameters like FM, ring mod, distortion, and filter frequency allowing for real-time expressive manipulation. Also included is a suite of creative FX such as pristine reverbs, chorus, and growling distortion to enhance your sound design. With huge sample libraries and preset banks, the RetroMod Complete Collection allows you to add an arsenal of sound sources to your virtual studio.

LEAD

Six Clavia instruments sampled note by note, at multiple velocities, and across 5 octaves, with every category of sound captured: lush pads, shining electric pianos, cutting edge leads, and PPG-like metallic sounds. RetroMod Lead is not just a simple reproduction of a collection of Clavia synthesizers but an inspiring combination of them. For example, merge together the attack of an FM Piano generated by a modern NordLead A1 and the raw body of the sound produced by an early NordLead 1. The result is a powerful instrument with a unique personality twisting the soul of the most desirable synthesizers made by Clavia.

The following Clavia instruments were sampled for RetroMod Lead: NordLead 1, NordLead 2, NordLead 3, NordLead A1, Nord Modular G1, and Nord Drum

106

Simple and effective, the 3 classic Juno instruments have carved out a devoted following. Building on this expressive foundation, for the first time it will be possible to enjoy the sound of a virtual multi-oscillator Juno, allowing you to layer tones. Explore new depths in the Juno’s bass capabilities and enjoy the unusual chorused pads that defined the originals.

The following Roland instruments were sampled for RetroMod 106: Juno-60, Juno-106, and Alpha Juno 2

FAT

Includes all contemporary Moog synthesizers, with the exception of the Mini, for the first time in one package. Not only have the final, complete sounds of each instrument have been sampled but also every basic element, starting from the pure waveforms. The result is a virtual future Moog capable of generating incredibly rich sounds. Be warned: the low-frequency capabilities of this instrument may damage your speakers!

The following Moog instruments were sampled for RetroMod FAT: Little Phatty, Sub Phatty, Sub 37, Voyager, and Minitaur

DIGITAL 1

The 1980s were a magical time for musicians, with the analog palette sharing the scene with an exciting new world of digital synthesis. The period between 1981 and 1987 were breakthrough years for the great hybrid machines: the PPG Wave series, the Korg DW series, and the Prophet VS, just to mention a few. RetroMod Digital 1 brings you the best of that 80s sound: we captured thousands of waveforms generated from the original instruments to bring you a huge choice of evolving pads, shining electric pianos, metallic picked instruments, harsh basses, and loads more. Digital 1 is the ultimate virtual instrument that lets you re-experience the hybrid 80s sound.

The following instruments were sampled for RetroMod Digital 1: Sequential Circuits Prophet VS, Korg DW8000, Kawai K3, Kawai K5, and Yamaha TX81Z

LOFREQ CLASSIC, MODERN, AND WIRED

44 years of analog mono synths contained in three massive virtual instruments! Not only do the RetroMod LoFreq plug-ins render the feel of the original instruments thanks to meticulous sampling, but they also add a contemporary twist deriving from the secondary multimode resonant filter, while the second oscillator helps beef up the sound and the XY Pad is designed to add your choice of subtle or aggressive color to the original sound. Go big with 16 voices of unison and rapidly generate patterns with the integrated arpeggiator – creating pulsing basses, searing leads and thick pads just got freaky!

The following instruments were sampled for RetroMod LoFreq Classic: Oberheim SEM, Yamaha CS-30, Arp Odyssey, Korg MS-20, Roland SH-2, Realistic MG-1, Roland TB-303, Roland SH-101, Novation Bass Station R, Doepfer MS-404, and Roland CMU-810

The following instruments were sampled for RetroMod LoFreq Modern: Eowave Magma, DSI Evolver, Waldorf Pulse, DSTEC Original Syn, MFB Synth II, Vermona Mono Lancet, Arturia MiniBrute, Waldorf Pulse 2, Dreadbox Hades, Behringer Model D, and IK Multimedia UNO

The following instruments were sampled for RetroMod LoFreq Wired: MFB Kraftzwerg, MFB Dominion 1, Doepfer Dark Energy II, AS Telemark V2, Make Noise O-Coast, Antonus Model 2600, Pittsburgh SV-1, Arturia MiniBrute 2, Dreadbox Erebus V3, Behringer Neutron, and Moog Grandmother
