Arrangement for soprano saxophone and string quartet. Score and parts included. Premiere: 1991 Zurich. Shaping the Curve was composed for John Harle in 1990 and is based strictly on a sequence of four chords. It served as a study for Where the Bee Dances, a concerto for soprano saxophone and orchestra written in the following year for the same soloist.
