To the Moon

Here is a lament with English and German texts containing two verses of an 18th-century folk song for SA chorus with piano accompaniment. The expressive, pulsating accompaniment underscores the message of a lyric melody. In the first verse, the poet is anxious, unable to relate to the gentle moon's tranquility.
