Stagg has another winner: VINT SERIE-S 55 EL.STFRED
The VINT SERIE-S 55 EL.STFRED. The back of the neck is somewhere between 'satin' and 'matte', which I really like. It has lightweight Paulownia body, and Alnico pickups. Right out of the box, all notes ring out, and the fret ends are as good as any guitar in this price range. The frets appear and feel to be a sort of 'medium-jumbo'. It's pretty much playable in my opinion, with little or no modifications. The only thing I did was to raise the bridge pickup just a tad. The classic vibrato has a good amount of action; no need to go in and remove a spring. For the price, what more could a player ask? Stagg and Capital Music Gear have another winner here!
